Bharat Sports Club is a family orientated grassroots cricket club based in the heart of Leicester City. We were first founded in Nairobi, Kenya in 1963, making us the oldest minority sports club in the city, before the club’s founding members moved to England in 1969.
The club moved to the Davenport Road Playing Fields in 2004 and it has been our home ever since. We now have over 80 members, a junior’s section, a women’s section and three senior men’s teams playing within the Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket League who are supported by a loyal family of spectators.
